This contract is the agreement between the client and 5 Star Home Inspections LLC to detail the scope of work and note the standard limitations of a home inspection. This contract includes a section to be initialed that allows the report to be shared with your designated real estate agent. A signed inspection contract is required before evaluating any property. To make this process simple, the contract can be sent using DocuSign for completion. With the contract available at the link on this page, it can be printed out and signed/initialed by you then returned in a readable format.

We realize many people are in the midst of packing, moving, traveling or want other options so please let us know how we can make this process easy for you. The contract can be completed at the time of inspection – extra blank contracts are in my mobile office. If you have any questions regarding the contract, please let us know well before the inspection time. Changes to the terms of the contract will not be accepted and if requested/demanded, no inspection will be performed.

You can pay by check, cash, or money order at inspection or ahead of time via PayPal, Venmo or Zelle. You can pay in person or over the phone with a debit or credit card. Payment at closing is possible but discouraged, and it is subject to an additional $75 fee.

Some properties have many unique features and upgrades that need additional evaluations and require more time. Additional and unique home features can be inspected - please let me know how I can help. If a house is at least 20 years old, there is an additional $75 charge, and a minimum $75 charge for outbuildings depending on size, age, and condition. Prices are approximate, variable, and subject to change upon on-site evaluation and/or without notice. A re-inspection fee is a minimum $100 when a list of repairs and receipts is provided and access is flexible.
